Steamed Fish

The Ingredients

Fresh fish, ginger and green onions with sliced mushrooms and a handful of cilantro leaves

Prepare the fish

Clean and gut the fish (or ask your fishmonger!). Remove the dorsal and pectoral fins.

Steam the fish

Place the fish in a stainless steel pan. Rub with soybean paste and scatter mushrooms, ginger and scallions on top, then steam.

Filleting the whole fish

Use a butter knife and a spoon to gently fillet the fish.

Plate and serve!

Place filleted fish on a serving plate and put mushrooms and ginger around it. Top with cilantro leaves, then serve!
