Prepare your ingredients for making Coffee and Hazelnut Biscotti. Fresher hazelnuts make more delicious biscotti cookies!

DRY INGREDIENTS

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Make a well in the middle.

COFFEE POWDER

Mix coffee powder into melted butter, stirring until the granules are dissolved.

ADD EGGS

Add eggs to the hazelnut biscotti mixture, followed by vanilla, butter and coffee. Whisk until everything is well combined.

ADD HAZELNUTS

Add the hazelnuts to the bowl and keep mixing. Coffee and hazelnut biscotti should be heaving with nuts so don't skimp on those.

DIVIDE

Split the coffee and hazelnut biscotti dough into four equal portions.

KNEAD

Shape the biscotti dough into logs.

SHEET PAN

Position on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, allowing room for expansion.

BAKE

Bake the nut biscotti logs until they have puffed up, become light golden brown, and are firm to the touch.

CUT

Cut the baked coffee and hazelnut biscotti into thick slices.

ARRANGE

Place the biscotti slices on a lined baking sheet and bake them a second time.

SERVE

Allow your coffee and hazelnut biscotti to cool, then store in an airtight container. They'll keep well for weeks if properly sealed.
