tandoori Roast chicken

A butterflied chicken rubbed with tandoori spices, lemon and yoghurt and cooked in the steam oven until juicy and golden

Ingredients

Dressed chicken Tandoori seasonings (Paprika, Ginger, Cumin, Coriander, Turmeric, Cayenne) and Yogurt

Spatchcock chicken

Use a pair of kitchen scissors to flatten the chicken, and cut deep slashes into the meat

Mix seasonings

Mix the seasonings with yogurt

Mix seasonings

Smear the spiced yogurt over the chicken and place on top of an oven rack.

Cook the Tandoori chicken in the steam oven for 30 minutes, or regular oven for 45 minutes. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes, then carve and serve.
