INGREDIENTS

Prepare the ingredients for making sausage and herb stuffing from scratch. 

SAUSAGE

Toast the bread , then cook the sausage over medium heat until it browns.

ADD HERBS

Add butter, onions, celery, garlic, herbs and pepper to the stuffing. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5-7 minutes.

TRASNFER

Transfer the meat mixture into a bowl with the bread.

MIX

Add stock and egg to your sausage and herb stuffing from scratch. Mix thoroughly until the bread has absorbed all the liquid.

BAKE

Spread the sausage and herb stuffing evenly in the baking dish and bake until golden brown all over, approximately 25 minutes.

SERVE

Serve sausage and herb stuffing from scratch either hot or warm. You can chill the fully cooked stuffing for up to a few days and reheat for serving.
