To make a perfect easy and quick steamed fish recipe, choose white fish fillets like tilapia, cod, sea bass or snapper.

Prepare ginger, scallions, red chili, soy and spices

Steam the filleted fish.

Top the steamed fish fillet with scallions, ginger, and chili.

Heat peanut oil until very hot.

Pour soy sauce and sesame oil over the quick steamed fish with ginger while you wait for the peanut oil to heat.

Pour hot peanut oil over the quick steamed fish. The aromatics will sizzle and smell amazing. Serve immediately with steamed rice on the side.
