Making the dough

First Proof

Sprinkle the cheese

Sprinkle the dough with parmesan and mozzarella cheeses, leaving a 1-inch edge on one of the long sides.

Roll the dough

Roll the parmesan garlic bread twist tightly from the long side and place the log in the freezer for 30-45 minutes.


Once chilled, slice the dough lengthwise down the middle, revealing two long pieces with layers of garlic butter and cheese.


Gently twist the pieces together, trying to keep the layered parts visible at the top of the twist.

Second Proof

Place the parmesan garlic bread twist in a warm place until it's puffy and risen.


Bake the bread until golden brown, approximately 35 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool for at least 20 minutes before serving.


Slice the freshly baked Parmesan Garlic Bread Twist into into thick slices, and serve either warm or at room temperature.
