Ingredients for best stromboli

You can  choose your preferred filling ingredients for the stromboli.

Make your dough

Activate yeast in warm water with sugar and oil, let it foam, then combine with flour and salt to form a smooth dough.

Knead your dough

You can use your hand or a stand mixer for convenience.

Press, roll and shape

Flatten your dough using a rolling pin into a 9x12 inch rectangle. Brush with a mixture of oil and crushed garlic.

Assemble your fillings

Layer ingredients across the dough. Then carefully roll stromboli into a tight log from the long side.

Bake and serve!

Bake stromboli until golden brown. Let it cool for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve the slices with warmed marinara sauce for dipping.
