Chicken Steamed Dumplings  with Hoisin and Ginger

Prepare the ingredients for making Chicken Steamed Dumplings

Put all the dumpling ingredients except the wrappers into a large bowl.

Mix the ingredients very well.

Place a teaspoonful of filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper, then run a little water around the edge using your finger.

Fold the wrapper in half around the filling, then fold the edge closest to you in small increments to create pleats.

Pinch the pleated bits and the flat side of the wrapper together as you go.

Arrange the dumplings in a steamer tray lined with parchment paper. Steam for 12 minutes.

Serve chicken steamed dumplings hot, with sesame seeds and dipping sauce on the side
